I don't think the Olympics will affect ratings that much given it's in Rio this year so different time zones etc. With London 2012 during BB13, it was in the UK so it was inevitable that it would clash as it's the same time zone. With BB9, the Beijing Olympics didn't really affect ratings whatsoever.

Also, depending on whether the series launches early or not and the duration, the series could well finish before the Olympics or just about before it begins. For example, if they launch it on 1st June and the series is 66 days long like BB16, the series would end on Friday 5th August - which is also the day of the opening ceremony.
