They should make something out of civilian instead of focusing on CBB, Big Brother isn't a celebrity edition show that's just a spin off show. It sucks how CBB is their main show now and not civillian which is what BB was meant for.

BB isn't going to grab the viewers CBB gets sadly. It's one of those things.. The age of finding 'normal' people interesting is dead (hence why civilian BB is like some z-lister CBB hybrid).

But how do you know it's dead if Channel 5 haven't given it a chance? Personally I think BB11 was better in terms of casting than any Channel 5 series. Also if its not 'dead' in other countries, why in the UK? I think it's just a case of awful, awful production being so out of touch with what the public like to watch.

It's dead in the way it isn't going to match CBB in terms of viewership. Producers could go all out, do some great series with back to basics production and it'd probably average 2 million (in the same vein as BB14), which of course would be a BIG step up but nothing in comparison to the media attention and viewership CBB gets. BB16 started off great imo, normal conversations and less producer meddling and it was barely averaging a million a night..

Saying that, I'm excited for what this year brings what with the new exterior set and apparent house extension.. A breathe of fresh air even to the outside of the house will give it a different feel from the past 5 years.
