One reason I would give for not wanting my daughter(or son) joining TIBB is my own privacy.
I don't want to have to think they will be reading anything I write and therefore acting as a censor.

Looking at the young members on here, I would say she would be mixing with a great bunch of people and could make some genuine friendships. So there is a good reason foe her to join.

I agree with this. It's good having a place to post your private thoughts/opinions without people you know irl seeing it.
