This broke my heart. Probably a conversation I'll have to have with my future daughter. The mum handled it beautifully. You are beautifully baby girl.

...hawww, she's adorable, CeeCee....I don't know, maybe you won't agree though but I think that the most wise thing that her mum said to her was that Michaela was mean sometimes but that everyone is mean sometimes...because people can be grim, they can be grim and intolerant/show prejudice etc no matter what that prejudice is..and that often starts in childhood doesn't it...to me she's a beautiful baby because she's a beautiful baby, because she's questioning with her heart..because of who she is and not because of skin colour...

She's too cute for words. But she clearly said that her skin colour was the issue. I liked how the mum handled this. From young age young black girls are conditioned to think they're not beautiful. It's like that doll experiment video I posted where the kids had to chose between a black and white doll. I hope this earth evolves before my daughter arrive but with more people like trump supporters existing I doubt it.
