I was going to say exactly the same

Hades was great until his hair caught fire imo. They could have just dyed his hair blue tbh

He'd have looked like a Hunger Games reject if he'd dyed his hair. Lol

That would have been more ridiculous tbh, they didn't need to try to emulate his look from the film, Cora should have just called addressed him as Hades to introduce him.

I enjoyed everything else although I do get the feeling that, like Camelot, the Underworld arc may serve up Neverland teas in that it'll probably outstay it's welcome.

They should have totally got James Woods to play Hades though.

I hope, unlike the Camelot arc, there isn't wasted potential in this Underworld one.

Yeah, I do hope they don't go overboard with the whole saving souls business, we don't need to revisit every character that's died so far. Cruella's really the only one who deserves a good arc since she didn't have much to do in the last series.

It could have had a sparkle to it to show it was animated idk. I just found it it ridiculous

Oh something I forgot to mention, having the two Henrys finally meet after all this time was nice!

And having Cora refer to Zelena too, I just appreciated that because the only Cora / Zelena stuff we've had so far has been young Cora and baby Zelena in those flashbacks, even though it's all the same character there's always been (for me anyway) a sort of separation between Cora and Zelena because we've never had them (as their current selves) share a scene (and until now we'd never had Barbara Hershey's Cora talk about Zelena at all).

Now I just hope Barbara and Rebecca get a scene together finally, I've wanted one with them since Season 3!

Cora mentioning Zelena by name bothered me, how would she know what her name is? Cora never went to Oz (and Zelena only came to the EF/Storybrooke after Cora was banished/dead) so there's no way (without retconning events) that Cora could have known anything about Zelena after she gave her up. It felt clumsy to me.

Oh I completely forgot that Cora didn't name Zelena before abandoning her.

Season 3 did have that scene where they summon Cora's spirit (who just happened to look like her younger self ) and Regina says "What did you do to Zelena?" so she has technically heard her name before.

Maybe with all these magic mirrors she checked up on Zelena from time to time?

Spoiler:

I wasn't expecting Hercules and Megara to be in just one episode, I assumed they'd be prominent during this arc.

Pretty pointless tbh (Meg's role especially). And I'm over most of the new characters having secret, never-before-mentioned pasts with some of the main characters. The flashbacks are getting increasingly convoluted with each season. Bailee Madison is great as young Snow though, she really does feel like the same character.

I loved the Hades scenes though, I think Greg Germann is doing brilliantly in the role. And Cruella's return was of course the highlight.

I also liked the exchange between the Blind Witch and Regina, I mentioned last week that it was a shame they didn't have a scene considering their past but I was unaware then that she was back for multiple episodes.

Oh, and Snow finally ditching Mary Margaret. It's about bloody time.

Yeah, Hades vanishing in a swirl of blue fire looked much better than the blue hair.

Oh yeah I really liked that. That alone would be enough of a shout out to the movie tbh.

Oh btw, Emilie has given birth to her daughter now.

Decent episode although I thought they wasted Hercules and Meg didn't need to be included at all. Hades is shaping up to be a good villain but they need to work on progressing the story, saving souls feels like a distraction to prolong the story at the moment.

Cruella was, of course, flawfree.

I was surprised at Hercules being dead.

Really enjoyed the episode. I wonder if Henry will write back his father to be alive if he can write Cruella to be alive again

I love the Blind Witch, I hope she keeps popping up.

She provided one of my favourite lines back in her Season 1 appearance, "Gravy or butter? How shall I baste you?!".
