Its comforting to know that its only a very small minority of Brits who admire this monster, so whilst we may get the impression (on this site) that there's a lot of admiration for this racist despot, its merely a tiny pocket of people who have found each other and in no way represent British feeling towards Trump.

It has everything to do with Trump! Those are the people he's attracting. He starting his campaign not thinking he was going to have a chance anyway so he was being honest about his intentions. His comments on Mexicans, Muslims and etc. He's only trying to seem somewhat political now because racist idiots are actually voting for him. And he has been known to encourage violence before. And I can't remember another campaign where protesters where met with such violence.
