I disagree. Helen was surrounded by a group of people that seemed to basically worship her, Ashleigh might not have "stood up to her" but she was one of few that could actually see how vile Helen was and didn't bow down to her when she was aggressive and intimidating, despite being years younger and clearly less outspoken. She was the series hero imo
