Absolutely. I think she represents the history of EastEnders fairly well. Started off as a realistic depiction of a down-to-earth, working mum, grew more and more miserable as the years went on, and went in a blaze of sensationalism after becoming unrecognisable. The awful treatment Wendy Richard got in her final year is probably what tarnishes the legacy of Pauline.
