Spoiler: The Labour candidate was criticised for sharing a platform with Stop Political Terror, which was backed by an extremist imam who preached to the 9/11 hijackers and acted as a recruiting sergeant for al Qaeda. In 2006, SPT was folded into Cage, the organisation that described IS executioner Jihadi John as a “beautiful young man” -------------------------------------------------------------------------- this guy has no chance, thankfully Last edited by Niamh.; 20-04-2016 at 12:08 PM. What leaves me gobsmacked is the fact that anyone with the least contact with terrorists is allowed to stand for Mayor, or any other political post.

Remembering Kerry
|
Personally I feel the Conservative party particularly have plunged to desperation as they see their man falling behind and badly.
However on the other foot, Labour would be biting at the heels of the Conservatives in a similar scenario too. Personally,I do not understand sharing of platforms with possible or known terrorist sympathisers. I doubt it will help the Conservative cause, despite having a good candidate in my view in Zac Goldsmith and I still expect to see Khan win for Labour this time round. |
