Well of course, that goes without saying! The editors determine the direction of the season, but if Michele was all that interesting I'm sure they'd have given her more airtime before they absolutely had to, but they didn't.

Hypothetical discussions about edited shows are pointless and I never understand why people bother tbh. Making points like 'well maybe she is entertaining but just isn't being shown!' is a moot one because how are we supposed to know that? I'm not going to support someone on the off-chance they're actually doing something that we're not seeing, we only have what's in front of us or else what's the point in watching the show? This is why I prefer shows with live feed because you can judge how accurate the edit is, but with Survivor and BBUK all you have is the editor's judgement and I'd think that if something was noteworthy enough by a contestant, they'd make the edit.
