What IS sad that an older person is so obviously targeted,anyone can see that,so what if Chuff has a differing opinion,there is no need to be rude and make fun all the time ,some people need to just grow up,its like a playground here already, Sometimes it's not what you say,it's how you say it, If Chuff thinks men should never hit a woman so what? she did already say it was wrong for a woman to do it also,but as LT said men are on the whole stronger and bigger than women,people need to stop with the goading before we can debate anything as adults . Chuff gave her opinion so let it go.

Well it's hard to truly know anyone's motives on here I think, but I honestly don't see Jack (who's one of the least prejudiced people on here) targeting someone because of their age, I don't think that it's in his nature to do that.

I honestly think that him and Chuff are very different people and they're clashing because of it as the one thing that they do have in common is that they're very assertive with their opinions from different perspectives.

In case you weren't reading the thread or missed it, I made a conscious effort to try and engage in a civilised debate with Chuff. I didn't mock, bait or do any of the things you're trying to accuse me of doing so this post is entirely misplaced and actually quite rude. A poster insinuated something I didn't agree with so I challenged it, this is a forum and that is my right. If you don't like engaging in debates, don't make comments that will incite one. And saying that men should never hit a woman and insinuating that men can't and aren't the victims of domestic violence most definitely will.

Direct your white-knighting elsewhere because I'm not the person to be aiming this at in this instance.

I'm afraid they're far more realistic than any of the outdated tripe being spouted in this thread. But I understand being on the wrong side of history and wrong isn't an enjoyable feeling so I sympathise
