The cast is strong enough to go on without marco. House dynamics already seem to be constantly changing and it's only been a week I'm sure they'll all adapt without him and we'll see more interesting things.

Marco really isn't as big a deal as people are making him out to him he's just an irritating twat he's done his part and now its time for him to go.

![]() I'm with the majority on the thread he needs to go. Maybe when he does and so stops making everything about him we will get a chance to learn about the other housemates. Last edited by Lstan; 17-06-2016 at 05:03 AM. |

People like Alex, Jackson etc have no impact on my enjoyment of the show, whereas Marco has a negative impact on my enjoyment on the show. Therefore the logical decision is to evict the one who is making me enjoy the show less, rather than evicting the one who will have no impact on whether I'm enjoying the show or not.

I do not find him interesting or entertaining in the slightest and I think Georgina, Andy and Emma have more potential.

I think the series will die if we keep in people who literally suffocate other people's personalities by insisting they're are the star... What do we end up with when we have people like that on the show for long enough? A series revolving around just one housemate and everyone else just being the supporting character who gets wound up by them then they get evicted. Examples Marc and Helen

We shall see, but as I keep saying quote me and watch. It happens almost every year and will likely this series too, I'd be amazed if it didn't Quote:

The number of people who would stop watching this series because of Marco is extremely low. The number of people who may end up hearing about this series and consider watching because of Marco is higher. And that's because he's a divisive character that sparks discussion which in turn gets the show more attention. The same would not be true of a housemate like Alex or Evelyn, again the number of people who'd stop watching because of them is little if not non-existent, but the number of people who would consider watching because of them is - at present - zero. It is better to have a strong, hateful opinion on a housemate than none at all. Without these housemates, the show would fall flat on its face (which it often does when several of them leave in succession) and it's just detrimental to its success and indeed future. No idea why any fan of Big Brother would want to sign off on that tbh Quote:
Without housemates like Marco we would not have anything to talk about. And a show like Big Brother thrives off discussion on forums like these, on social media and in real life. No divisive and big characters, no discussion, no show. |

There's nothing to talk about with Marco though. It's all just "ugh", "he's gross", "how trashy". If you have a problem with the series having too many dull characters then that's the fault of the casting - it's perfectly possible for there to be big names evicted first and the series carries on to good things. BB7 lost Sezer, Bonnie, Lisa early on and is still regarded as a classic; BB6 lost Lesley & Maxwell quickly; BB13 lost Chris & Lydia.
I can see why there's cause for concern with this series when there's Alex, Jackson, Sam... but I think all of the others are delivering in some capacity/could offer more. Perhaps not Laura but then who knows ![]()

Bb15 and 16 probably had more tensition and arguments than early c4 seasons but they're still a pickle when you compare the to the likes of bb3 and 2
