IMPORTANT For anyone who TRULY believes in a Referendum result for 'Leave' - LUMP ON THE 11/4 odds being offered by Stan James and most other bookies. A - depressing - word of caution; the odds for a result for 'Remain' are 1/4 ON. Bet £4.00 to win £1.00. This means, that those very astute Bookies - whose very business relies on sound 'insider information' are saying that a 'Remain' victory is 'in the bag'.

We do get it wrong sometimes, unfortunately... plus there's not a huge market for politics betting (and usually pretty strict stake limits, due to as you say, insider info) so the bookies don't make a big loss either way, it's considered "novelty betting", along the same lines as "What colour of hat will the Queen wear to Ascot" (a real bet btw )
