Actually although it grieves me to say this, Nigel Farage has fought long and hard to bring this referendum into being.
It was pressure from him and his leadership of UKIP that forced the govt to offer this vote.
No doubt about that.

I do not know about a general election but I do feel really,that a fresh mandate as to selecting who should be negotiating a deal now as to leaving needs to be looked at.
Firstly at the very least it should be an all party negotiating team as there could even be a general election held before the deal is even concluded.

For me too, because of his determination in bringing this about, Farage should along with his party, have a say as to such negotiations too.

I agree with Pete too, the 16 and 17 year olds should have had a vote on this and also it should have had a lock as to majority to make the vote binding on the govt.
That is history now however, the pro EU side of the govt failed to grasp the mood of England and indeed Wales too.

Well in reality,Farage didn't give us our country back,David Cameron did,HE called the referendum, Farage has already backtracked on money that went to the EU would be going to the NHS, saying that was a mistake !!!
