Andy isn't a bad sort but he is older and in his own mind wiser than most of the housemates and at times he can sound patronising. Add to that he's a bit pompous too. And he's very posh. Not somebody the average man/woman on the street would warm to or have much in common with. I think he thinks he's intelligent, but that usually goes with wit, and he has none of that. Intelligent people don't get into arguments about ghosts. I could see Andy being one of these insecure hardcore atheist types who spend all day online arguing about their belief system and drinking wine alone at home. He's the 2016 Freddie Fisher. That said these socially awkward types do do well for a few weeks, like Freddie. It was good to see Jason owning him on Europe, but it was a bit like 2 bald men arguing over a comb
