I think it's even simpler than that. He's a man and she's an advertisement of his ability to love. Charlie's current state is the product of their love and therefore it's all Jason's fault that she is in such dire shape since it was his "doing" that left her there. Classic damsel in distress. I don't personally believe but many people are going to side-eye and wonder if he has failed his responsibilities and if there is a lot than what meets the eye... even though Charlie is not really his responsibility anymore. (he missed that memo though)

Charlie should've been told to own her baggage. Day 1. All that time he spends asking questions like Is it OK? Are you OK? Is that OK IF... when blah blah and blah when we get out etc etc, he digs a deeper hole to climb out of. Should've just been given her the hard truth upfront, explained his reasoning and then leave her be. The DR is plenty available for him to speak his part... it's not her business anyway how he feels anymore, but he keeps making his business her business every time he needs to be validated for his part in things. I'm guessing whatever relationship they had is in tatters now and what you see is what you get. Imo, it was likely very codependent and probably very toxic for the both of them after a while and the relationship itself stopped being tenable and illogical to continue while their heart(s) were still very much in it and had not yet reconciled with reality.

Charlie in her VT said she is very selfish in relationships so she's owned a lot of her portion with that admission as far as I'm concerned. All he had to do was say he was owning his, he was sorry and no I will not marry you and please it's over 100%, please move on... The fact she's a piece of work now after the fact can have nothing to do with him when he's owned 100% of his part and said to move on.

Many people neglect that last part in breakups which is where I think many people have messy breakups and squabbles before they're able to properly move on. I would argue he's done enough to cater to her but he is the one who is not able to let things go and as long as he's like that, she's going to hold onto every shred of it and treat it like there is still hope.

Its not that Jason has done anything its wrong its the way he 's acting with her. He needs to tell her straight, something that no one can claim he has done while in the house, nominating her confirms that.

That way he acted so torn up about nominating her did not convince me at all. He wants her out cuz she makes him look bad because he doesn't know how to handle the feeling she has for him.

If she thinks he wouldn't nominate her then she's even more stupid than I thought....what person in their right mind in his situation would try to keep her in ? I don't think it takes a drastic tumble in integrity/character to get rid of the person who you've made it clear 200 times that you don't want to be in a relationship with as she spread stories about you cheating.

Like, I get that the whole "blame the woman" edit has been overdone on this show in the past but it's quite abundantly clear here that she's the one who can't move on and is dragging the atmosphere down. I'm bored of their awkward glances and the tears, and honestly this is why no couples should be cast whatsoever. That and the fact THEY'LL NEVER TOP MARIO & LISA.

I do like both of them individually and whilst they were separated they were great but he's become as one-note as she has recently and if one of them should be evicted, it should be the one that's causing the constant negativity.

I think you mean Charlie. She deliberatly antagonises Jason, acts as though he's said something awful to her (when he hasn't) and runs away crying. Thus making the housemates feel sorry for her and hopefully (in her deluded whackjob of a mind) make the public feel sorry for her.

Exactly, she's admitted to treating him dreadful the whole time they were seeing each other and to being a serial cheat , so she's used to being a good liar .Maybe Jayne could give her a job when they get out

Jason is not even approaching her. She's the one who always want him to cuddle her, hug her, understand her, love her, fancy her, give her a chance, look at her. She's the initiator of 99% of their interactions.
He had the right to nominate her and I'm glad he did. Game playing would have been not nominating her because the public wouldn't see it in a nice way.
She's a parasite and needs to move on. This is not love.
