First of all, I am glad that you are safe Daniel. That is really welcome news.

Secondly, RIP all those who have so cruelly lost their lives in yet another cowardly attack upon civilisation by these evil murdering terrorists, and get well as quickly and as fully as possible, to all those injured.

Finally, at the risk of creating a shetstorm of unwarranted criticism from anyone misinterpreting my comment, I would add, that this outrageous attack is, sadly, yet one more nail in the lie that the 'the UK is safer in the EU' etc. because - the FACTS do not bear out such a statement.

The UK is safer BECAUSE of the sterling work carried out by our own Security and Intelligence services who silently and consistently DAILY continue to foil these type of murderous atrocities which seem to all too frequently decimate other countries with impunity.

There's also an apparent fire at the Eiffel Tower but police don't believe it to be terror related, hope it's not too serious

Thank you. I got a message about ten minutes ago from her saying she was on the metro but I'm just panicking for no reason. My geography skills went out the window when I found out about the lorry crash!
