The US needs a leader that will sort both the Black Lives Matter group and The Police out, Obama is clearly too scared that he'll come off as "siding with the blacks" if he told The Police off, and his also too scared that he'll be seen as "racist" to black people if he told the BLM group to tone down the extreme elements.

Anyway I hope that The Police Officer is okay.

Nobody said it was BLM activist. Apparently the Baton Rouge shooter was a right wing man. And the Dallas man was a lone shooter. The BLM organiser has called for peace though still. Some people are using the movement for their own agendas like Isis use Islam or Kkk use Christianity. BLM is originally about equality.

Some sources are saying he's in critical condition, but the Daily Star said he has passed away.

I honestly don't think there is anything Obama can do or could've done. Our country is well divided and now we are in the midst of a culture that is being shook up in a very big way. The two major political parties in this country are too busy fighting with each other to improve upon their aging (and now becoming irrelevant) platforms that I don't see how they can properly run the country as they are now.
