but what really let hughie down, imo, during that task was his targeting of someone who was - to all intents and purposes in his and other hms' minds - very upset and having her own 'meltdown'. that alone speaks volumes about his personal moral compass.

a lot of people would have been laughing along with him because they knew jayne was on a task as well - but take that knowledge out of the equation for a minute... what kind of person steams into another person who is already visibly upset just for the sake of a task when he could have chosen plenty of other ways without involving them? the answer is simply 'not a very kind one'.

it higlights (in a most obvious way} the difference between someone like himself who doesn't see beyond his own pleasure and someone lilke jason who acts out of the innate desire to do the right thing by others.

Brilliant clip ....Hughie shouts too much but in all honesty, Sam always affirming how he DOESNT shout pisses me off even more....that's twice now that Jason has started to explain people's misconceptions about him and twice that Sam has not shouted but either walked away or laughed in Jasons face. Sam is a nasty piece of work. Even worse than Hughie. More than once I caught him either laughing at Jason or walking away when he was talking. He better go on Sunday
