They obviously didn't intervene because they want controversy and people talking about it.

If they really did care about the 'safety and welfare' of their housemates, Big Brother would've called Aubrey to the DR whilst she was doing it and told her to stop and to dispose of the food she spat in immediately but they waited until she had spat in it and he had eaten it till they called her in.

But they were risking his health and he had to have "appropriate" medical advice, Aubrey would be on the phone to her lawyer if he did it to her were they not watching or what
