I can't really warm to Heavy D. He was a part of that group and got involved in their dickishness before they turned on him.

He wasnt a victim when he was part of the wind up merchants group, or when he invaded James personal space, or when he told Saira she has her beak in everyone's business, or when he referred to Chloe as an inanimate object, or when he laughs in people's faces when they are offended, or when he made someone wash his dirty under wear, or when he BOOMS like a ****** when people have just got out of bed....
He's no more a victim than Bear is a victim

Lewis making Heavy D beg and say please and thank you for a half drunk glass of stolen wine - that was deliberate intimidation and bullying behaviour from Lewis, aimed intentionally at making Heavy feel and look small.

Saira standing over Heavy with her foot on his bed, ignoring him when he asked her to leave him alone and saying 'i can go where i like, what you gonna do about it', then threatening to burst his balloon, intimidating him, making him say what she wanted to hear including 'say my name SAY MY NAME' (even though she called him Bear in the same convo) - THAT was also intimidating, bullying behaviour, designed to make him feel small.

Heavy is annoying and is not acting the victim at all. But he has been repeatedly talked to and treated like dirt by both Lewis and Saira.

It's best not to pigeon hole people as 'bullies and victims', it's not black and white, we are all capable of being good and bad. But there is certain behaviour that is out of order and crosses the line.

So far Lewis and Saira have acted in a way designed to intimidate and cause deliberate upset to others. Particularly they have aimed this cruelty at Heavy D.
Thank you. Just because Heavy D can be annoying isn't a reason why it's okay to bully him. People who aren't disgusted at the behaviour of Lewis and Siara towards him must have a very low opinion of themselves because it seems it wouldn't bother them to be treated that way themselves but would make excuses for their tormentor. How sad and revealing.
Or alternatively they are just being deliberately obtuse.

So theoretically if you stole more than your share of alcohol and someone begged you for a glass you wouldn't give it to them if they didn't say thank you? You would consider it bad manners on their behalf to ask for something which you stole off them in the first place.
I see. I'm getting you.

I think it's a misconception that by not defending Heavy D people are in turn defending Lewis....they each cut their own path to the aggressive situation in the garden, they were as bad as each other .... there aren't many who like Lewis any more than they like Heavy....In fact Heavy has way more support and followers....I think Heavy started that evenings resentment when he earlier offended Saira, Lewis then defended Saira and told Heavy he thought he was a really nasty man. Heavy had clearly got Lewis' back up, which, like Bear, he is very good at. Lewis then retaliated with the drinks situation and then Heavy retaliated by calling Marnie a liar.
Two people having an argument does not constitute bullying. Heavy D is an agitator not a victim of bullying. When housemates react to being wound up by Bear we don't accuse them of bullying him, so why do we do that with Heavy D ?

Did you get the impression that Heavy D never or hardly ever says please or thank you and on that night Lewis had reached his tolerance level with Heavys ignorance ?
I know Lewis had earlier been in the diary room saying that he found Heavy D bad mannered, lazy and greedy. And earlier Heavy has upset Saira while in the company of Lewis.
And for sure, Heavy D didn't say please or thank you when he asked for and was given the wine....and the fact they had stolen it makes no difference cause he didn't know that at the time..

Under any circumstances? If someone stole more of the alcohol than they were entitled to, and you asked them for a glass which YOU were perfectly entitled to, you would say thank you to them for deigning to give you a half empty glass? Well well, I never thought of you as the cap doffing type. You are so feisty online too.

I heard someone else tell him to say thank you the other day, maybe he thinks his size and thug behaviour excuses him having no manners

He has no manners the way he talks over people who are in conversations that don't involve him.....that, is what I find bad manners... and his lack of regard and respect for James and Grant while they nervously waited to hear their names last Friday showed how little consideration he has for people and what appalling manners he's got.

Why does everyone have to be defined as either a bully or a victim? Its so stupid and is getting boring fast.

I was chastised so badly the other day for saying it's like watching a care in the community video ...when in fact, that is exactly what it looks like to me and exactly the image he creates on purpose.....everyone is making allowances for him like we do for children and adults who are less fortunate than ourselves....but he's neither, he's a grown bloke, with a strong body and a strong voice....the victim role is what's being projected onto him by people who create their own version of him but it's not really him....he knows exactly what he's doing just like Bear or Lewis or Saira .....

From what I've seen I do think he was a victim in the situation where Lewis and Marnie hid the alcohol, and he was treated horribly by Lewis in particular after he caught on to what they were doing.

I do, however, think that he's a wind-up merchant like you said. I'm not fond of him much. He can be equally as obnoxious as Bear at times.
