Like every now and then when Paulie is talking I start to feel sorry for him for like a second then I realise what a **** he is and I stop myself but like Natalie said if you were dumb it's easy to believe what he is saying so props to him for running the house so long.

It wasn't made up, but it's effectively dead now. Paul's fully aware of all the double-dealing Paulie was doing and Paulie knows that Paul could have swayed Victor from nominating him but didn't. They're kinda keeping up the pretense of still being bros but they're both playing each other (Paul doing a much better job)
