Had Bear dealt with the situation better he may have got more support from people with short memories. However he just showed himself up to be the selfish git he is....he pretty much blamed his girlfriend for putting him in a bad light .... Even his tears were for himself.

There comes a time when you realise that you cannot support a 'loser'.
