Voting costs money. Something has to motivate people to pick up the phone and spend money voting. It isn't Ricky's personality doing that. The mouth-breathers have just seen someone from "Walford" and voted for them because "Eastenders is dead good innit."

Oh.. Youre genuinely confused? I thought you just didn't want to concede lol. Um, you're underestimating the anti-vote. It definitely exists, and its definitely enough motivation for a lot of people. I dont know of anybody in person or on forums who vote based on the tv shows that they enjoy but that could be another theory too. Although, its unlikely because James beat Marnie once.. Thats more like down to the anti-vote.
