I always imagined they may have asked the HMs for some of those final moments montage moments and the good night scene especially tbf. They're usually done well, so I can't even be mad.

Alex is one of the house directors (in charge of the cameramen in the runs/the overheads) iirc, so he wouldn't have been in charge of the staging.

If the producers or anyone relevant is reading this, can you fasttrack my husband onto the next civilian BB please. He is doing my head in about it now and saying its my fault he hasn't been on yet as I get pregnant (on my own eh?) everytime a series is due to start

There's a big red box that says live in the gallery apparently whenever it's live so channel 5 presumably don't mind us seeing this bit. I think people are just a bit disappointed. In retrospect I guess if it's just that one shot then it doesn't matter that much but...eh.
