She didn't compare Pete and Jimmy, she never said they were similar or did similar things, she just gave an example of someone who gets spoken ill of because it's a popular choice. She said that to someone who mentioned about speaking ill of the dead and you need an example to support that argument/debate, practically every celeb gets spoken ill of and she could have said anyone else, She wasn't comparing anything.

We all know what she meant.
