it's been a particularly bad week for me after three years of "badness" and i guess i'm coming to a realisation that things probably aren't going to get a whole lot better which kinda sucks

trying to be vague to avoid making things too awkward

I mean... I get being vague on here because private stuff often gets used against you... so you don't have to say more... but I can understand the sentiment and feeling behind your post. I would like to hope that when things feel that bad...there is always room for it to get better... and that is me saying that and coming off a particularly bad week after a long time of bad as well.
I hope for us both that I am right

...awwwww you.....I understand there may be things that have made you feel like you've had three bad years because the bad things in them have overshadowed for you and they've been the things that have most defined those years for you..but there will have been good things as well Richard...it's just at times/at those really sucky times..it's hard to see and feel the good and easy for it to just pass us by without us absorbing it...it's that silly thing of if we feel things won't get better, if our mind set is negative then that's what it will bring because all we'll see and absorb at the negatives...we sort of become our own thought processes...

...you've had a bad week, a really grim week but it's gone and try if you can to believe that this week/next week is going to have some good stuff in it...keep yourself open to believing that nice things will happen also..(as well as whatever grim things..)...and then when they do happen because they do for most of us..you'll see them and absorb them, they won't just pass you by without you even noticing../absorbing them will give you strength in yourself to deal with the rubbish......

I am really sorry to hear that Richard,I do hope things will start to get better for you.
Sharing concerns can really help,my thoughts are genuinely with you for better times to come.

For myself, the last few weeks particularly have shown me time needs to be better used around those that really matter and to really make the effort to avoid loud and aggressive people, who really are not worth any time or effort.
