The chances of being killed in this country by a terror attack are very slim, you are more likely to killed by a mental health patient walking the streets when they should be in a secure unit.

Perfectly true, but such a statistic has no real relevance here and it is also just as perfectly true, that as far as terrorism is concerned, the less terrorists free to walk the streets of the UK, then the less likelihood there is of being killed in this country by a terror attack.
