Read it and educate yourself about this major storyline you're calling dull Will.

I'm not the only one calling it dull on here!

And anyway I'm not moaning about his depression storyline, I want something to happen on the show.

The bin stuff has been going on for like 4 weeks now, it's good there being realistic but there overdoing it.

It's a television show at the end of the day.

They only thing I've been impressed with is Tiffany and Morgan returning.

You missed my point, I said it was a TV show because it needs to entertain.

4 weeks about bins isn't exactly riveting.

It's good there doing realistic stuff like that, but they've over done it. Wouldn't mind it if other things weee happening.

It's not just been about bins though

It's a soap and it's supposed to reflect real life

Bins reflect real life!

Tonight's episode was entertaining in a number of ways... Did you watch it?

Yeah I know it's meant to reflect real life but there's a barrier.

The balance isn't right imo.

I mean noting seems to be going anywhere, Lee is still in it in the new year as he's still filming.

There's like 9 weeks until the new year when it looks like it picks up a bit.

There's no big drama but we're leading to it. Jay's stealing, Lee's depression, Dot's sight, Phil's liver and Denise's baby are all going to big stories with climactic endings.

We've got Masood, Linda, Babe, Ronnie, Roxy and Kyle all leaving, some of them will be under dramatic circumstances.

There's Max's return (and Cora's), too.

We can't just throw in a huge story when there's no drama there. It's a natural setting. Kim's driving, the bins, the market, Belinda's money troubles, Bex being in love for the first time and trying to avoid what her mum and dad did, Jack and Ricky being in the Scouts, Dot losing her job and Jane's disability among others are stories present just now.

How can we just throw in a huge dramatic stunt when it isn't required or necessary?

Christmas and New Year are so close and the drama will return. But the drama becomes tiring. I was drained for a lot of Dominic's run. It's nice to have a show that's easy to watch, with (mostly) likeable characters and watching them grow without death or cancer or domestic violence or whatever else you want to see.

We've had some incredibly powerful episodes, some of the best in years, recently.

I can see why you think it's boring, but you don't watch for the same reasons I do.

How is the bin stuff overdoing it though? It's not as if it's a main plot robbing screentime from the others. It's just a backdrop.
