I really liked the last episode and the series as a whole.

It wasn't perfect though, I hate how the Witch, like the aliens and the Addiction Demon, became an undeveloped element when she was made out to be important to the plot.

The Lee stuff was great though although we could have done without the whole Ghost Hunting segment, it felt a bit ridiculous that, after two shows that ended in murder, that anyone would realistically go to the house on a Blood Moon whether they believed or not.

I didn't expect to like the Lana stuff but I did, I would have FUMED if she was killed off by that inbred though. I wish the interview section went on a bit longer.

I was very fond of the ending, I thought it was great that they dropped the TV angle for the last scenes and didn't try to force a way of keeping it going.

The series was problematic in parts but overall I think it's mostly been a return to form, I didn't expect to enjoy AHS so much again after FS and Hotel. I hope they keep it up for future seasons and I hope they keep playing with the formula. After three seasons of what felt like a supernatural version of Dynasty, it's nice that they put the focus back on the horror.

Asylum's was pretty good, bar the lack of explanation of the Alien stuff.

I think it's meant to be a bit of a Parody/commentary on US broadcasting standards. Violence is A-okay but swearing is a big no no.

IIRC, the 3 Days in Hell part of the season was meant to be a Big Brother parody a bit.

I only saw a few episodes but the finale was a bit of a dud...Constantly jumping between shows was a mess.

Was the shooter played by Chaz Bono? He looks like he's lost weight.

I thought Adina did a good job tbh, the 'My Roanoke Nightmare' stuff was rough but after that she was pretty great.

I really felt for her by the end, if Audrey didn't exist and wasn't hilarious, Lee would have been my fave tbh.

You have to hand it to Freakshow for being the only season not set in a building with ghosts (Asylum didn't have ghosts I know but Murder House, Coven, Hotel and Roanoke are all set in houses/places of accommodation where ghosts live) I appreciate how Roanoke came from a different angle but I really am sick of haunted places now can we at least make room for some other kind of horror?

I love this show but I can't warm to this latest series. I definitely don't think it stands up well beside the great seasons that have gone before.
