Surely the most effective method will be the one that parts your bottom cheeks the most allowing your hand and toilet tissue to wipe the maximum surface area. That having been said I have never heard of anyone standing up as surely that presses the cheeks together and spreads the faeces more making a right mess? Also if you stand up and your garments are gathered at your shins there is a potential that you could topple over and further complicate the situation with smearing and injury? As interesting aside to this debate would be do you think that in 50 years toilet paper will still be the exact same or will the whole defection process will have moved on?

This sounds right out of Mars. Is there an active opposition in the UK against TP? What do they suggest instead?... tea leaves? You know, we probably evolved using common leaves so maybe we should get back to basics. I hear aloe vera is very good for your sensitive skin...

I think I do it standing up because I feel like the circumference of the bowl stops my hand from going as far as I want to to clean. But anyways, because of my mum putting the habit in me, I always wash my ass after pooping, even if I cleaned it well with just toilet paper.

The trick is stand with your legs open, ensure your ass stays on top of the bowl to stop any anal leakage going on the clothes.

I think you should see your GP as that is not normal, no things should leak from your bottom, they should be expelled with thrusting?
