#1: Lex has a huge ****ing ego and was convinced that Kelly was the second vote against him last TC (it was Teresa
 )#2: They threw one scene near the end of the episode that involved Lex trying to sway Brandon so he definitely put in the work, but another huge factor was that Brandon HATED Frank's ****ing guts and refused to align with a homophoba #3: Mainly out of self-preservation, since Kim figured that she and Brandon were two of the next targets
