Default Celebrity Big Brother 2017 line up: One celeb quits 'hours before launch'

The Celebrity Big Brother 2017 line up has apparently lost one of it's stars ahead of tonight's launch.


Reports today have claimed that one of the celebs set to take part has pulled out with just hours to go.

Actor Jody Latham, best known for his role in Channel 4's Shameless, was supposedly meant to be a part of the cast this year.

A source said previously: "He was one of the nation’s most promising actors during his time on Shameless and he’s hoping he’ll be able to recreate that success again after going on CBB."

The Sun now claims that Jody has decided to leave the line up.

HOWEVER a spokesperson for Jody denied the claims.

"Jody was never even signed up to do CBB so I have no idea where this story has come from," they said. "He's focusing on his acting and has joined the creator of Shameless Paul Abbot again to star in Paul's C4 show No Offence.

"It's great that he's back working with Paul the writer who launched Jody's career on Shameless."



Meanwhile, other celebs set for the show are also causing trouble.

This year's first CBB series is an All Stars v New Stars special with a mixed group of former CBB housemates making a return and new celebs taking part for the first time.
