I seem to remember a LOT of major characters left in 2006 and the show hit rock bottom. Then the Branning/Mitchell resurgence began and resurrected it through to 2010.

Honestly, shocking. Louise is the only one with real potential there I think. Ben is a crap actor and all round dislikeable character, Jay is a good actor but I'm getting bored of him now and Courtney and Mark Jnr seemed soooo dull and bland.
