It's already confirmed that Chris Chibnall will be taking over Steven Moffats job for series 11 in 2018, so it won't be cancelled anytime soon.

The show is still hugely popular worldwide and hugely profitable, even with the decline it's had the past few years.

2018 will most likely be like 2010, a new Doctor, new companion, new TARDIS, new look and style for the show. A reboot, which is what the show could do with right now.
