Nothing to do with being racist or not - the 'sentiment' is simply a fact, name-calling doesn't change that. Besides Muslim is a RELIGION not a race and is practised by those of different skin colours. Amazed by how many on here confuse the two.

Would you prefer xenophobe, then? Regardless it's really not up for debate - the statement that "Decapitating people is something Muslims do, not Westerners" is sweeping, ignorant and xenophobic.

Wrong again. I have no issues with most people from other countries I simply have issues with a certain regions ideology.

I think the term you may be looking for is 'islamophobic' despite your attempts to go round the houses and accuse me of something less acceptable.

What is islamophobia - it is a dislike of a religious ideology that practices misogyny and that as good as enslaves women.

Yes I dislike, dissapprove and question that belief system - stick whatever label on that you will.

As a human being, especially as a woman, shouldn't you also dislike and question it?

Women havie been fighting the good fight against misogyny and sexism for decades in this country despite there not being much support from many men and it seems that even in this so-called 'enlightened' age thinks haven't changed as much as they should have.

Many people seem less interested in supporting female equality than they do in expressing their support of a backward thinking and repugnant misogynistic ideology like Islam. In my book that is double standards and quite worrying.

I strongly dislike a religion that hates women for no other reason than they are women. Try as you wil to imply that it is it there is nothing wrong with disliking/disapproving of and questioning a religon and those that support its ideology. It is the right of many.

If you want to get pedantic, we could say there is no such thing as race but if religion is not a race, why are the Jews classed as a race?

I would have thought that simply put race = skin colour and religion = beliefs. Not the same thing at all.
