The problem in both cases is marginalisation and poor integration, though. In my opinion, if we as a country put as much thought and effort into finding ways to ensure/promote the integration of people arriving, instead of trying to stop people from arriving in the first place... we wouldn't have half of the "problems with immigration" that we do have.
