Anohni is pretty well known in music circles, her albums have been up for 3 Mercury Prizes.
I mean yeah, there's no chance of Lianne or NAO winning, but think the populist vote will be split between Emeli and Ellie, and anyone who actually values good music would swing towards Anohni. Not to mention they'd revel in the chance to: - give the first ever award to a trans artist - give it to someone overtly political and likely to say something controversial
