I find the fact you quoted educated like it was a bad thing quite interesting.
I put it in inverted commas clearly implying that it is their own belief that their opinion is an 'educated' one - not fact. My, my seems that you have quoted GM word for word.

Bearing in mind she was still harping on about over-turning a public vote during/after it going through the 'legal' process strongly suggests she had no interest in making the process 'legal' just hoping Parliament would be able to stop it.
