However knowing that we will press the button if we have to instead of just sitting like a pan of fishfingers waiting to fry would help.
Saying he would not be happy with drones picking off terrorist leaders doesn't help either.
The fact that the labour spokesman had to come out and explain that his views are not labour policy is quite telling.
