The point t and opportunity of films like Daniel Blake are to speak to people who DON'T currently know there are major issues with the system. If they only speak to those who already know there are problems, they are not living up to their full potential.

Unemployed single parents would be on minimum council tax liability. In most areas this is zero though I have just looked up Newcastle and it's 15% of full liability. Assuming a band A property, that works out as (at most) about £3 a week.
