Of course not, your title is 'racially abused' but I don't see how this is abuse? He stated who the scarecrow reminded him of, that's it.

So he didn't deliberately create it as a racist stereotype?

I suppose the Olympics clothes and flag were a coincidence?

You find it acceptable to essentially make a giant "golliwog"?

But if it were to be reversed and it was a white scarecrow dressed in Olympic clothing and he said "it looks like Rebecca Adlington" then what would be the harm in that? It can be offensive if the scarecrow is ugly and she doesn't want to be compared to an ugly scarecrow but just because it's a black scarecrow she has exclusive rights to take it as racially offensive?

Racial offense should be based on intent and not perception because that's when it gets really fuqed up.

But he hasn't spotted a funny looking scarecrow and thought it resembled someone.

He's made a golliwog and deliberately dressed it up in that clothing/flag to give it a link to a black celebrity. I'm not explaining it any further as it shouldn't need to be.

Unless you're genuinely completely oblivious?
