it was not a problem back then many youngsters would do all types of jobs but its hard to even motivate a youngster these days all most care about is drinking.

We can easily train up all of the young unemployed

So we've gone from generalising and making assumptions about "immigrants" to generalising and making assumptions about "lazy workshy and drinking youngsters".
