The thing is, by pointing out that she could and should have done better, all you're really saying is "If Theresa May was a more competent politician she would have done better!". And... Well... Yes, obviously. That's sort of a moot point isn't it? The point t is that she didn't do well, because she isn't a very competent politician. She's a bad public speaker and she has surely now outright proven that she repeatedly gets situations completely wrong, misreads the public, and makes bad decisions.

I agree with Brillo believe it or not. At this point, whether you wanted Brexit or not, it is happening and it's something that we have to get "as right as possible" first time or we are in even deeper ****. Theresa May is simply the wrong person for the job... She CAN NOT get it done well, she isn't a good enough speaker or negotiator, she isn't personable, and she doesn't really know what she's doing. Neither does a showboat like Johnson. The Conservatives at this point need to put their money where their mouth is, put Brexit first, and put a competent, reasonable, convincing maybe even dare I say it "a bit boring" economic-minded person in charge until Brexit negotiations are well underway.

I will never respect or thank Theresa May for anything she has done in politics full stop never mind since becoming PM.
Not a single thing.

The reason her team wanted her to avoid the debates is precisely because she had everything to lose, since Corbyn would've wiped the floor with her. Suggesting otherwise is pure fantasy I'm afraid.

She is an embarrassment to her party, she is an embarrassment to this country, she is an embarrassment to herself, and she needs to **** off back to whatever field of wheat she came from.
