I think a lot of people are ott with the hate because it's their opportunity to drag a member without getting infracted, plus certain members really want to bait negative responses out of his friends.

...the quiet ones never have (many) fans on here until the end when their personalities come out. They are referred to as deadwood and there are always suggestions for whole house up with vote to save to 'cull the bores'

Lets not pretend that so many people have all of a sudden just changed housemate tastes

Theres nowt wrong in supporting him as he is from here, but its unfair to ignore that people do support him just as he is a member...whilst accusing others of not liking him because hes a member.

Personally i like him because he's nice. And i have noticed how caring and sweet he is on several occasions. I like that he doesn't take things personally and he's having fun. I would have probably liked him even if he wasn't a member. There's just something about him that appeals to me.

Surely that is not allowed?!?! Anyway well said, that's how I feel about it all.

Of course his friends (his real friends) are going to support him and that's more than fine but some people with their super fandom are just hard to take. And because of their super fandom they loose credibility in almost every debate they have because they're always biased anyway.
