To a degree yes. Everyone in there is playing a game. But I certainly don't think he's a master manipulator, sneaky, or calculating.

He is very much the Master manipulator...he is extremely sneaky and very calculating.
It is a game and most of them are playing it. He is playing a clever one..he knows EXACTLY what he is doing. However he is not only fooling most of the housemates...he is fooling the public...and after tonight's BOTS exposure...will the public turn on him?...or will they love him for it?
They have such a dire line up in the house...he hasn't much competition.

Did he play a game to get into the show? - yes

Is he still playing a game? - Yes, everyone in the house has a game, I dont think having a game plan is a bad thing at all, people assume when someone says game plan, they mean someone 2 faced, but being social and nice to others to me is a form of game plan as its the part of the game to not get nominated by the others. I think Kerion plays this part perfectly as he is not offensive to anyone, very bland and sits on the fence alot, and in previous seasons he could have won, but with less figures I think that form of game is old fashioned.

I do think Raph has played a game, he created the dived in the house, but he is not malicious in any way, he is a likeable person and is loyal to the people he wants to be. I think he would be a great winner, much more deserving then Ellie who is a desperate fake and chanelle who is too valguar for my liking. I also think I see myself in him alot, a fan of big brother, so of course I want him to do well.

Haven't watched today's episode yet and am in the last ten minutes of yesterday's currently but yes, like ****ing duh he is? It's subtle and he puts in a lot of effort to cover his tracks, which may or may not be the good thing (depends on whether the public is completely snowed into loving him or if they just don't reward his gameplan because it's too subtle), but I think it really just comes down to how he is attempting to write his own narrative and the language he is using in doing so. Whether he chose to be or whether he just got lucky with the editors, he became the de facto preacher in the DR about how thorn cottage is the underdog bedroom and rose cottage is where ~*THE CLIQUE*~ sleeps, and I think right now he's purposefully undermining Joe and presenting it in a way that looks like Joe is provoking him.

Had you asked me before bots I would of said I believe he's being himself 100% and his VT was a load of **** but his audition tape fits in so well with his actions in the house I'm a bit shook.

I made a thread like this a while ago where i said I couldn't work him out.I'll admit,I still can't.It seems more and more like he is the more we progress.

I never watched BOTS last night so I missed the VT. I would always take those with a pinch of salt though, you have to make yourself sound outrageous to get on the show (or else have an agent) I stand by my original comment in this thread. I do think, as a superfan, he's definitely thinking about the game and some stuff he does may be calculated but I think he's generally a nice guy. I mean to me he seems exactly the same kind of a person in there as he came across on the forum, that's not to say his forum self wasn't an act too but that would have been a long and an exhausting facade to put up both here and to carry it on in the house, the same personality. he'd be pretty talented to do that

I agree. He was hamming it up to get in the house. Has he ever been nasty or rude in there? No, he's always respectful and kind to everyone.
