imo he deserves no sympathy at all, as he brought it all on himself. He targeted Isabelle from the moment she went in there, not just about her appearance but by trying to (wrongly and unpleasantly) imply she was stupid too. He did this because she dared to challenge his behaviour and defend others. He constantly demeaned her and was condescending towards her. Chanelle pulled him and his clique up during the game about picking on Isabelle. You can only provoke people so far.
He chose to misinterpret and massively over-react to the comment she made, which I don't necessarily agree with but which wasn't so bad as many seem to think. She wasn't criticising him as a father, but him as a role model.
When BB ejected him, one of the reasons they gave him was that he'd been intimidating and isolating other housemates, particularly women, and they mentioned that he'd been warned about it on previous occasions.
That says it all really. He chose his actions, for which only he can be responsible, and therefore he chose the consequences of those actions.
