He did seem to get on with 'the clique' better then he split up with Ellie. Sam then speaks a bit more to 'the outsider's and miraculously a bunch of people suddenly think Sam is alright. Then he goes to speak to 'the clique' and he is evil and horrible again. Its rather amusing
