Default I am confused
If I order something today for delivery on the next business day does that mean it'll be here tomorrow or Monday? I want it to be delivered for Monday but I want to make sure that's the case before I order since no one will be in tomorrow to take it if it's delivered then.

I checked on the DPD website but they aren't much help in defining what they consider a working day since whether or not Saturday counts seems to vary on the business.

We use DPD as our courier at work and next day would mean next working day. We send stuff out with them everyday. So the stuff we send today will get there on Monday

Working days are always Mon-Fri

From DPDs website (I assume DPD UK are the same) :

Do you deliver on Saturdays?
We deliver parcels to all parts of Ireland on Saturdays. It is key that you specify that these are to be delivered on Saturday when you request your collection, and use Saturday delivery labels also.

What time will my parcels be delivered?
We offer next working day delivery nationwide

Saturdays, Sundays, Bank and Public Holidays are not classed as 'working days'.
