First off - i don't really like Simone.

Secondly - yes she totally brings drama onto herself and makes things worse by stirring it.

But my point is about the other HMs and how full of preachy BS they were last night.

MY GOD watching all the other HMs gather around Simone all acting like this flock of totally innocent angels of wisdom. All taking it in turns to judge and 'tell Simone about herself'. But how dare she ever talk about or judge anyone herself!

What a bunch of hypocrites.

Every single one of them in there is guilty of everything they accuse Simone of. They ALL gossip all day long about each other - that's what happens on BB - and in life! They have also (most of them) done pranks in there. Chanelle even ACTUALLY peed in the pool (not just TALKED about it like Simone did)

I think the phrase is 'virtue signalling' when people exploit opportunities to broadcast to the world how 'wonderful and righteous and snow white squeaky clean' they are. Usually it is total hypocrites who feel the need to do that, to sell themselves as something. That's what they all did last night around Simone.

So yeah i don;t like Simone but right now she is the easy target and everyone feels it's ok to jump on the bandwagon and all queue up to put their two penny worth in. Even though they are every bit as bad!

And what was it all about anyway??

Her repeating what Andrew said about having no money? BIG DEAL!!

If it was a total lie then so what? It's hardly 'attacking his character'. What a total drama queen he is. Talk about milk it.

If it was true then - so what anyway?? EVERY SINGLE PERSON at some point in their lives complains about money!

I notice Andrew didn't deny or challenge Simone's comments. Looking at the way he ran up the stairs AGAIN and acted 'ohhh so offended!' AGAIN, makes me think it MUST be true. That is the reaction of someone EXPOSED. If it was untrue then he'd simply get her to explain and flatly deny it. He didn't even ask her about it.

Anyway rant over. Just watched last night's episode and the self-righteous hypocrisy of them all descending on Simone was such a wind up!

Can't stand the girl but yeah they are. She has brought it on herself in a way though but that doesn't really excuse the group attacks Andrew is just ridiculous and he clearly did say the stuff she said that he said or such a strong reaction wouldn't have happened tbh

I need to watch back the episode but I am sure it was actually Chanelle not Simone who said 'he doesn't have a pot to piss in' or whatever it was. its possible they BOth said something like that, but then why only pull up Simone? And no, what she said wasn't bad at all. If he is going on about the money a lot, then why can't that be mentioned?

I see her as the female version of Arthur as a housemate role, really - gone in with zero sense of social skills and a half-baked idea to piss people off and Helen Wood her way to the crown, but vastly underestimated the effort it takes to keep that act up all series.

Her drunkenness is a bit disturbing, the way she moves and slurs is quite uncontrollable and I'm surprised she's lasted as long as she has, but she's also responsible for the things that have pissed the house off (lying about the bottles, coming up with the piss prank (even if that was blown out of proportion), laughing at people's faces)...

I do like her in a weird way (possibly because she's the least predictable aspect of the show now, when so much of BB18 is following tried and tested tropes) but let's not start with ganging up claims again.

It's not a claim, just that when you see a group of people all laying into one person together like that, i don't know what else to call it. Ganging up? Mob mentality? Group attack? Outnumbering someone? Not sure how else to put it.

If people took her aside individually and said their bit to her on, one to one, then fine.

I'm not saying she is being bullied, but they are all coming AT her in the safety of numbers. Like it's 'OK' to all collectively be judgmental about this person now. It's OK to target this person. 'Everyone else is doing it' so it's OK type of attitude.

It's never nice to see. Even when you don't like the person on the receiving end.

Especially when their morals are so full of BS.
